Our goal is simple...
Build the most robust digital library of culturally relevant short stories.
We want kids of color to see themselves reflected in the stories they read. We want young scholars to be empowered by characters that look like them. We want storylines to be relevant. We want the language to be relatable.
We want kids to enjoy reading... PERIOD!
The only way to accomplish this goal is building a library of original content.
Unfortunately I live in a world where as a black man I am fearful of the same people that pledge to protect and serve our communities.
SafeSpace was built to save my life. With a single tap of the app I trigger a notification to anyone within a 3 block radius in addition to my emergency contacts to respond as a witness to my interaction with law enforcement.
As a former classmate of Philando Castile I feel it is essential our communities support each other by policing the police.
Think Udemy for culturally relevant lessons in the classroom navigated through music.
MusicNerdz connects songs by Nas, Kendrick Lamar, Jay Z, 2Pac, and many other artist with relevant and engaging lessons for high school & college classrooms.
We believe we can connect the lyrical genius of great musicians to current and historical events through their timeless songs. MusicNerdz is generating 180 modules that will connect students unlike any other history curriculum around.

As a former educator I gained a first hand perspective of the difference between 'Good' and 'Not-So-Good' schools. I believe our families should have as much up to date and accurate data on the schools their children are attending.
In partnership with MN Comeback we've developed a digital school finder supporting families in Minneapolis.
Moving forward I am maximizing the technical foundation of the Minneapolis school finder to support other cities around the country.
We make it seamless for families to find schools based on location, performance, activities, and other special attributes that best support the needs of kids.
Opher (pronounced: Offer)
Not yet in development, but supports a clear vision. Create a power network of power players with a prerequisite of adding value to each other.
Take a moment to visualize Harvard Alumni. A good ol boys club of influencers, that grant access to others with a simple phone call or text.
Opher aims to shape an invite only digital version of movers and shakers to expedite the success of fellow brothas & sistas similar to a legacy network.
